We are seeking a vibrant, enthusiastic, and highly experienced Enterprise Business Architect to join our team in Melbourne, Sydney or Brisbane. This exciting new role is pivotal in establishing a new line of business for Fusion5. The successful candidate will be empowered to develop the enterprise architecture services offering and the underlying framework required to make it successful.

As a Fusion5 Architect you will be in the front line of creating success. You will work directly with a network of other Solution Architects from across the business and will have the opportunity to investigate new technologies and support the overall strategic direction and development of the practice.

We are after a strong Enterprise Business Architect who can:

  • Assess and design solution visions and practical executable roadmaps to address customer and prospect business requirements
  • Work across Fusion5 pillars to recommend cross pillar solutions including integration and middleware solutions, Corporate Performance Management and Fusion5 Intellectual Property
  • Design solutions consistent with ‘best practices’ and ‘fit for purpose’ principles
  • Evaluate and recommend business applications, technology, and infrastructure architecture
  • Keep knowledge up to date across new / evolving solutions and technologies
  • Conduct research and case studies on leading edge solutions
  • In partnership with stakeholders, identify opportunities for evolving, developing, and delivering Enterprise Architecture services, including identification of competitive services, opportunities for innovation, and assessment of marketplace obstacles and technical hurdles to the business’s success
  • Oversee and guide the delivery of the enterprise architecture/roadmap with the delivery team
  • Develop the enterprise architecture framework and toolsets
  • Deliver enterprise architecture services to customers.
  • Take ownership of overall solution for each enterprise architecture engagement including third party (ISV) and vendor involvement where needed
  • Work closely with Sales and Account Managers to develop relationships with our key customers or prospects to help sell enterprise architecture opportunities
  • Provide specialist product knowledge and domain expertise during sales opportunities working with other specialist consultants

The skills needed to be successful in this role are:

  • Knowledge and experience in a wide range of applications and technical platforms across multiple disciplines such as ERP, CRM, Warehousing, Middleware, eCommerce
  • Proven experience in leading enterprise architecture engagements
  • Advanced skills in preparing technical architecture diagrams and solution design documentation
  • 10+ Years in senior consulting positions
  • Familiar with different Project Management approaches, such as Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid
  • Deep understanding of multiple systems and technologies
  • Proven client Pre-sales and relationship skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Proven analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong understanding of project management principles
  • TOGAF (or comparable) qualification.
