We are looking for a contract manager who may be trained in contract law, or have solid experience interpreting contract terms, and negotiating contract changes.

The Contracts Manager is responsible for the end to end lifecycle management of licence and services contracts held with our customers. This includes setting up and managing a database of current contracts, answering questions from customers or their legal representatives about the terms and conditions, arbitrating and interpreting requests for changes to the contracts, and ensuring Fusion5’s commercial exposure from a contractual point of view is minimised.

Your day to day duties will be managing our IT contracts, working closely with our sales and consulting managers throughout the contract lifecycle, including the monitoring of each contract until contracts are formally executed by all parties. This role spans contracts for customers who reside in both Australia and New Zealand.

To be considered for this role you will have proven End to End experience in the establishment, negotiation and monitoring of IT software licence and services contracts from the Vendor side.

What is involved:

  • Ensure IT Contracts are current for every customer and the customer database is updated
  • Lead IT Contract discussions directly with the customer or their legal representative, working in close partnership with our Sales and Consulting teams
  • Ensure any changes to the standard contracts are commercially viable for Fusion5 and within acceptable legal parameters
  • Lead and ensure IT Contracts are executed by all parties within acceptable time periods
  • Ensure any changes to standard contract terms are understood by key stakeholders at Fusion5
  • Implement IT contract governance including chairing operational and commercial governance forums and managing contract risks and mitigations to ensure contract value is delivered, monitored and reported on
  • Provide high level advice and support to Practice Managers in the development of a range of commercial and contractual documentation including Statements of Work, Service Level Agreements, Pricing Schedules, and Project Timelines upon request.

You’ll need:

  • Proven IT contract management experience
  • A strong attention to detail
  • To be self-managing and resourceful
  • A qualification in contract law, or relevant legal experience
  • To thrive on being across many contracts at once and addressing risks and issues before they become problems
  • Energy and enthusiasm, with a desire to make an impact within a consulting and solutions environment.
