Sales Executive - Corporate Performance Management

Fusion5 is an award-winning technology solution provider focused on modern Business Applications, Data and Analytics. We have close to 600 staff across Australia and New Zealand supporting more than 1000 customers across all our divisions.

One of our five core divisions is Corporate Performance Management (CPM) in which we go to market with two products Workday Adaptive Planning and IBM Planning Analytics to address different market segments. Having achieved Platinum Status with both partners and significant growth, both via acquisition and organically across our client base, we are now focused on the next phase of growth, specifically of our Australian business.

Our team has been growing rapidly both in terms of new team members and new wins, now onboarding several iconic Australian brands. Up to this current moment, many of our projects have been delivered as a ‘pull through’ from existing customer relationships from our other divisions. As such we are now seeking a dedicated Sales Executive to develop new business purely for CPM.

Your main purpose will be selling modern cloud-based Budgeting, Forecasting and Business Planning software and our Professional Services that replace the use of personal productivity tools such as spreadsheets within businesses.


You need to be comfortable and have experience in Solution Selling, understanding business drivers and be a natural relationship builder. We are a highly collaborative organisation so operating as such is key to success.

Key capabilities and characteristics

  • Able to articulate and communicate the big picture vision, with clarity and credibility
  • Knowledge and awareness of the processes within FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) departments in organisations
  • Adept at prosecuting sales opportunities from leads through to signed deals with high energy, dedication and focus
  • An advantage having worked with other Planning Technologies such as Anaplan, TM1/Planning Analytics, Oracle, OneStream, Solver BI or Board
  • Familiar with Data and Reporting Concepts
  • Accomplished relationship manager capable of building and nurturing strong relationships with clients and prospects
  • Has experience in the complex business application solution selling space
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, driven and tenacious with the natural desire to achieve in a competitive climate
  • Work with integrity in your relationships and actions.

You will have access to a range of highly capable professionals who support the sales process such as Solution Architects, Pre-Sales, Practice and Project Managers.

We also have a highly developed Data and Analytics Practice that often provides solutions to a CPM sale in the form of Software and Professional Services, you will not be limited, rather encouraged and incentivised to develop and drive broader and holistic solutions to our clients.
