Fusion5 Sponsoree Lewis Clareburt wins big with swimming Bronze!

Lewis Clareburt has won New Zealand's first swimming medal of the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

Clareburt took bronze in the men's 400m individual medley final on Friday night, with fellow Kiwi Bradlee Ashby fifth.

The 18-year-old broke his personal best by four seconds with a stunning time of 4:14.42. Australia's Clyde Lewis won gold in 4:13.12 with Scotland's Mark Szaranek second.

Fusion5 has sponsored Lewis for the past 9 months and we're extremely proud of the committment he shows to his sport, and the successes he has had. As with any sport, becoming a world-class swimmer requires dedication, and a special drive to always do better, that only a unique few are lucky enough to have. By smashing his personal best time by four seconds in the 400m Individual Medley, Lewis has more than shown he is a rising star we should keep on our radars!

If you fancy some goosebump inducing good feels, take a listen to the live commentary of the race.
